Our History

We are increasing the amount of mixed FSC and FSC certified packaging. The company's goal is to achieve 100% FSC certified packaging by 2023. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international Non-Profit Organization established in 1993 that promotes responsible management of the world's forests. The FSC has created an internationally

recognized forest certification system. The certification has as its purpose the correct forest management and the traceability of derived products. The FSC logo guarantees that the product has been made with raw materials deriving from forests correctly managed according to the principles of the main standards: forest management and chain of custody.

The headquarters of Dedaindustrie group, Deda Elementi and Dedacciai will soon expand their solar panel initiative by installing more across the factory buildings taking the total production of 175,000kW per year. This decision aligns perfectly with the historic mission of the company to develop, manufacture and market products intended not only for cycling but for the sporting industry in general. It is increasingly evident as time goes on that significant and meaningful actions are necessary on an ecological front and on the environmental impact associated with the economic development of the Dedaindustrie group.

Energy supply is a topic of high priority and for this reason a project was launched which saw the installation of 3,000 sqm of the latest generation of solar panels, to which a further 2,000 sqm will be added by 2024. In doing so, the plant will guarantee an annual production of 190.000kWh capable of covering 65% of its needs. By committing to this plan, it is estimated that in 25 years, the Dedaindustrie group will have cut down emissions of CO2 by 1,151 tonnes.

We are progressively replacing plastic packaging with paper with a lower ecological impact.

Furthermore, the use of plastic will be limited to the use of regenerated material. The company's goal is to reduce plastic use by 50% within 2025 and be plastic-free in 2030.
